For us, 2021 was a year full of change and surprises!
It was a year ago that we came to view Toppesfield Hall and took a leap of faith. After moving in in March 2021, we began our plans to transform the buildings and land into a wonderful holiday retreat.
One year on, Toppesfield Hall Holiday Cottage is welcoming guests from all over the country. We have received so many glowing reviews which can be read HERE and are delighted with all the positive feedback we have received.
It has been so lovely to welcome such a variety of people to Toppesfield, including families, groups of friends and couples. It has truly been amazing!!!
Work never stops though and we are continuing to improve the outdoor space to make the land more accessible to our guests. Over the next few months we are hoping to develop the woodland area further. We need signposts to help guests navigate around and to direct them to our village too.
On my morning walk today I couldn’t resist taking a photo from the back of the cottage. Behind the cottage garden is an enclosed paddock which is perfect for guests to use for family ball games or just to allow the children more space to run around safely.
It is such a lovely day, cold yet crisp, just the way I like it!! I did a quick test of the hot tub too and it is at the perfect temperature ready for our weekend guests to arrive!!!
